It is believed that spirits exist all around us, in the trees, rivers, flowers, fields, anything. At the Japanese Star festival, this is no different. The festival is a magical time where people, of the human world, make wishes for the year ahead to the gods in hopes that they'll come true.

But hidden in the wind, the spirit of the Tanabata tree, Tana (タナ), is watching closely to grant the wishes of those deserving, and for those who don't? Well, let's just say she doesn't wear that heavy backpiece for no good reason.
